DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Greet all guests and use their name in a friendly and helpful manner at all times
* Assign rooms according to guests’ requirements
* Check daily guest arrival and departure list
* Supervise the Guest Services personnel to ensure optimum occupancy, average room rate and maximum revenue by up selling skill
* Ensure that standard operating procedures for check in/ out and room change properly implemented by the entire Front Office team
* Maintain a good attendance record and well-groomed
* Frequently inspect cleanliness and orderliness of the Guest Services Desk and regularly check the availability of stationery required.
* Prepare all weekly and monthly reports in accordance with required quality standards and established deadlines
* Assign the tasks for Guest Services Team every shift
* Assign one GRO to take care of checking VIP arrival
* Receive and assist VIP guests in their registration upon check in and arrange guest amenities to be delivered to their room accordingly to
the standard
* Ensure that guests depart from the hotel with a positive impression from the Guest Services team
* Make recommendations to management regarding development, training and corrective action of team members
* Provide on-job training to subordinates and new recruits
* Settle guest complaints, inquiries and request, refer them to the Front Office Manager when needed
* Be able to stay calm in difficult situations
* Be familiar with all Accounting Standards and Procedures pertaining to room’s revenue and advise staff concerned to adhere to the in
daily operations
* Attend all briefings and training s conducted by the Front Office Manager
* Update room status regularly
* Keep monitoring of Room blocking for the arrival and liase with Housekeeping Department to make sure the Room Ready upon guest
arrival
* Follow up pending Bill to meet the completion within frame time set up
* Have a complete understanding of the Front Office Policies and Procedures, Job Description, Hotel Employee Handbook, Hotel’s policy
relating to fire, safety and health and to adhere to the regulations contained therein. Report any hazard to health or safety immediately to
Front Office Manager or any other appropriate Department Head
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior which is not included in this job description

Experiences
* Minimum 2 years in a similar position in 4 or 5 star hotel.
