Position summary statement:
Enhance luxury customer satisfaction through the appropriate training and development plans for hotel staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Administration
• Conducts an annual training needs analysis
•Incorporates the hotel’s training plan within the Business Plan of the hotel
• Coordinates with the department managers to help identify training opportunities for employees
• Identify internal and external training resources and optimizes the budget
• Incorporates customer information as part of the strategy
• Understands the impact of the key components of a successful hotel: employees, customers, owners, and profit
• Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
• Maintain training calendar
• Manage the training budget
• Produce reports as needed
• Measure the effectiveness of training
• Learning & Development
• Networking within the PPHG training community
• Has their own development plan to keep their training knowledge and skills current
• Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free of discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
• Treat complaints of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentially.
• Treat customers and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivity.
• Identify and deal with issues which may cause cross cultural conflict or misunderstanding.
Guest Service Responsibilities
• Manage and implement company training programs and deliver training sessions with educational methods adapted to adult learning
styles
•Platform and facilitation skills•Develop and/or adapt training programs to meet day to day hotel needs (including lesson plans,
participant materials, job aids, and user manuals)
•Conduct training workshops to support quality standards
• Work with departments to ensure on job training activities are successful implemented and applied effectively to workplace
•Maximize learning by providing a creative and efficient environment in the delivery of training sessions
•Share responsibilities for the integration and orientation process of new hires
•Assists with the implementation of new policies, procedures, and standards
Miscellaneous
• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that
it takes to comply under normal circumstances.
• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.

Strong experience in Training/Learning & Development and understanding of other aspects in the HR Department
Enthusiastic, strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent English skills
